I have a lot of lobe piercings on one ear and this was something interesting and unique to add to the normal "hoops and studs" I wear. The hammered effect was perfect to add a unique texture. I will say that it being flat did not work for my ear and kept falling down. I took needlenose pliers (I have played with jewelry before) wrapped in electrical tape and VERY gently bent the crescent so it was not flat but had some curve. This helped immensely in it hugging my ear and I now have no issues with it teetering. I understood the risks with this if I broke it, so BEWARE if you choose to do this yourself. I love the earrings so much I give them 5 stars but I was tempted to dock a star for shipping. It took significantly longer than the estimated time production time for them to ship and deliver.
